This October, Mariposa hosts a 7-day retreat centred around cuisine, ocean movement, music and community.
Not a bootcamp. Not a detox.
Just a slower, more social way to spend a week.
Come as you are. Join everything or dip in and out - the rhythm is intentionally relaxed.
Expect slow mornings, yoga & breath work, ocean dips, long lunches, open fire feasts.
A mix of hands-on cooking workshops, time in the water, music and unstructured space to rest or explore. Evenings gather around shared tables, fire, and good conversation.

Hosted in collaboration with Alessandra Lauria (The Pasta Studio) - culinary designer and founder of Pasta Week and Smile and Make Pasta.
Her workshops blend Italian technique with the abundance of Sri Lanka’s local ingredients, spices and produce.
Food is the anchor - cooked, shared and experienced together.

Day 1 - Arrival & Landing
Arrivals, welcome drinks, optional beach swim, relaxed shared dinner.
Day 2 - Market to Table
Morning yoga, local market visit, free afternoon, evening cooking workshop.
Day 3 - Ocean & Breath
Surf or beach time, slow afternoon, breathwork and sound healing.
Day 4 - Fire & Sound
Fishing trip* or yoga, free time, open-fire cooking, bonfire and music.
Day 5 - Wild Day Out
Trip to Yala National Park.*
Day 6 - Culture & Coast
Yoga, temple visit, beach time, sunset ritual.
Day 7 - Reflection & Celebration
Group cooking, long-table Sri Lankan dinner, fire and celebration.
Day 8 - Departure
Slow morning and departures.
